With more than 30 years in nurseries, design, and hands-on maintenance, Wendy has seen the true costs of neglected care — from declining property value to lost beauty and diminished community pride.
Our mission is simple: to empower landscape companies, contractors, and civic organizations with the training and support they need to protect their landscapes, uplift communities, and create places that endure with grace — for people, for pollinators, and for generations to come.

Hi, I’m Wendy Proud. My roots are in California’s nursery and horticultural world, where I spent decades learning how to unite horticultural wisdom with hands-on maintenance. I founded Kinship League because I grew frustrated with cookie-cutter services that overlooked what makes each landscape special — its history, setting, aesthetics, and living beauty.
Today, I focus on civic, commercial, and HOA landscapes — places where how a site looks and feels sends powerful messages. I partner with landscape maintenance contractors to coach crews, elevate horticultural confidence, and raise the level of care across every site.
My goal? To help you sustain landscapes that not only serve communities and support pollinators, but also celebrate beauty, strengthen identity, reflect your mission, and endure with grace.
